- You need 2 cup of maida.
- It's 1 cup of ghee.
- Prepare 1 cup of peesi hoi cheeni.
- Prepare of Badam hasb e zaroorat.

In its authentic recipe, ghee, maida, rava (sooji), gram flour (besan) and sugar are used but nowadays it is generally prepared without using gram flour and rava. The word Nankhatai is derived from Persian word Naan meaning bread and "Khatai" from a Dari Persian word meaning Biscuit. In Afghanistan and Northeast Iran, these biscuits are called Kulcha-e-Khataye. Kulcha is a type of Indian bread similar to Naan.

- Ghee namak or peesi hoi cheeni koo achi trhaan beatr se beat karein ke wo fluffy sa mixture ban jaye.
- Phir us mein do cup maida kute hoe badam or baking soda add kar ke use avhi trhan sakht sakht gondh lein.
- Us ke chote chote biscuit bnaa krr us ke upar ande ki cotting kar ke use ek karahi mein namak bicha kar full heatup kar ke us main stand par biscut rakh ke 20 se 25 min tak bake karein or naan khatai tyaar.
